Job Description

Responsibilities:

• The R&D software engineer will work closely with the product owners, application engineers to analyze the requirement, apply appropriate software engineering process to design, develop, test and release the software to the end customers.
• The candidate will be fluent with various software technologies to develop station controller, machine interfaces, connectivity data platform, MES automation services, predictive analytics and deploy these services through edge analytics and cloud solutions.
• The candidate will explore and research into technical aspects of software development.

Qualification/requirements:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, Computational Applied Statistics or equivalent with strong CGPA.
• Passionate coders who possess relevant process knowledge and experience in wafer test, packaging assembly and final test have desirable advantages.
• Prefer individuals who will enjoy solving challenging problems.Candidates will be able to communicate in English (must have) and Mandarin as there is a need to liaise with Chinese speakers in China and Taiwan more effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• The ideal candidate will have strong implementation experience in supervised learning, unsupervised/clustering techniques, search optimization algorithms, Image analytics, Computer Vision, Text Mining, and are familiar with various limitations for regression and classification problems.
• Prefer individuals with Deep learner Neural Network, CNN, RNN/LSTM and other classifiers such as, Naïve Bayes, Gradient Boosted Tree/Decision Tree, SVM and, etc.
• We are also looking for ORE who have experience in Linear programming solver, scheduling and dispatching heuristic modelling and etc.
• Candidate must be able to at least code in Python, R, MATLAB or other scientific programming languages and databases programming skills, and have added advantage for other platforms such as: C#.Net, ASP.Net, C++, etc.
